Daysha-Rea is a multi-disciplinary artist who views the world through a vibrant, neurodivergent lens. Her work is a deep reflection of her diverse roots, weaving together the rich traditions of her Michel Band First Nations heritage with the soulful, spirited influence of her Salvadoran and European ancestry.

Rooted in Indigenous family, culture, and tradition, Daysha-Rea’s creative journey brings together art, storytelling, fashion, regalia making, and dance. Through her artwork and designs, she celebrates the beauty of cultural expression while creating pieces that encourage others to embrace their own identity and be true to themselves!

Her artistic work extends beyond the canvas. Daysha-Rea creates and works with traditional-inspired regalia, exploring the craftsmanship, symbolism, colour, movement, and personal meaning woven into each piece. She also participates in hoop dancing, carrying the spirit of movement and storytelling into her creative expression. The hoop becomes a powerful symbol of life, connection, continuity, and the many paths we travel.
